Timeless Tales for Inspired Living
Courage, Resilience, Determination, Humility!
Don't you wish you had these ingredients of true leadership within yourself?
You do!

But how do you bring these often hidden resources to the surface? How do you make them part of your life.
We all need role-models, we all need heroes.
Not the celebrities, idols and superstars of pop-culture, who are unlikely to leave any lasting impact on the world. But true luminaries - whose attitudes and actions have resonated through millennia and whose influence continue to shape lives today.
This February, we will be launching our new JLI course, Portraits in Leadership. Portraits in Leadership is a study of the inspiring life story of six figures whose courage and determination helped Judaism weather its darkest hours. In the face of the first-century Roman assault on Jerusalem, the fundamental institutions of the Jewish people were utterly destroyed. With wisdom and verve, these leaders took the radical steps that managed to preserve the essence of Judaism to this very day.
More than the champions of history, each sage was a champion of human character. Portraits in Leadership takes a deep look at the attitudes and behaviours that defined and empowered these great people - attitudes and behaviours that can enhance our very own lives today.
The course is one part history, one part biography - all parts inspiration.
We are constantly looking for tools to deal with day-to-day challenges. What better way to find guidance than from the wise example of others who encountered hardships and used them as the impetus for growth and change?
Lessons will draw extensively from the stories of the Talmud and modern commentaries while distilling the strength of character that underlie each leader.
The Course runs six Monday evenings (7.45-9.15PM) starting February 1st and six Wednesday mornings (7.45-9.00AM) starting February 3rd - Call Helen 9371 7300 ext 4
